Facilities
stables
There are 70 stables here at Woodlands Stables, with different types and sizes of stables to suit every horse.
walker
Our 5-bay walker is used to warm up and cool down horses, before or after exercise. It is also great for bringing horses back into work from injury or holiday.
2-furlong round canter
The round canter is great for slow endurance work. It helps to settle horses down and is an integral part of our horses routine.
langton wold gallops
Langton Wold is where we do all our fast work. Only a short ride away, they have 6 furlong and a mile, grass and all-weather gallops. As well as stalls and schooling facilities.
woodlands lodge
Owners can stay at the lodge if they wish to come and view their horses.
lunge ring
We use the lunge ring a lot and it is a great asset to have whilst breaking in our yearlings.
pen
We turn horses out daily in our deep sand pen. We turn a lot of the horses out after they run. It allows them to have a play and a roll in a safe environment.
paddocks
We have 15 acres of turn-out here at Woodlands Stables. We like to turn our horses in training out regularly and some of our horses also holiday here.
horse boxes
We have a modern fleet of horse-boxes at our disposal with two two-stall boxes and a four stall box.
