Burtonwood
Yesterday I had my first winner since being back on the race track after lockdown. Beverley is one of my most local, and luckiest tracks and I had the opportunity to ride the beautiful Burtonwood for Julie Camacho.
Ready to Go !
I am excited to be able to ride again from next Monday. Yard work, riding every day and regular, grueling coaching sessions from Kim Tinkler have kept me fit while racing had been put on hold.
Looking forward to the weeks ahead !

The stable is buzzing with the return of the season just around the corner at Newcastle on Monday.
It has been business as usual at the stable, here is a star of last year Ginger Jam flying up the gallops, but there is no substitute for racing.
Unfortunately I am not eligible to ride straightaway, but am raring to go and looking forward to the season ahead.

Very proud of my team mates James and Aiden who provided the entertainment at the Racing Welfare charity boxing event at York Racecourse last night.
I’m sure it won’t be the last success the stable have at York this year!

Had a great day back at Newcastle, with a close up 2nd for Suzzanne France in the first, before Athollblair Boy ran his usual great race in a hot handicap, finishing just 4 lengths behind the winner.
He is having a rest now, well earned, and will be back during the turf season.
Thanks again to everyone for these fantastic opportunities to ride these amazing horses.
