On Monday, I was delighted to win my first race for trainer, Mick Mullineaux! I loved riding Somewhere Secret, what a big, powerful, beautiful horse!
Roundhay wins at Doncaster!
I was so happy to win on Roundhay Park at Doncaster last Saturday! Not only was it his first win at Doncaster, it was also the first time my best friend Helen has led me into the winners enclosure - both are memories that I will cherish forever!
I’m very excited to be back on The Knavesmire, York Racecourse, this week. Very much looking forward to riding Imperium Blue tomorrow, who was my first ever winner at York, last year!
I’m so proud of Roundhay Park, for finishing a very close 4th at Wetherby yesterday! I was also very happy with Citron Major who finished 2nd in the feature race at Ripon on Saturday. I’m so lucky to ride these amazing horses!!
Walking the course at Nottingham on Monday, I got a great view of the 1st!
A lovely Sunday in the sunshine!
Ginger Jam. Whatever the result, he always does me proud!
Not On Your Nellie wins at Catterick!
It was great to be back on the turf yesterday at Redcar, it’s been a long winter! I had two rides, the legend Athollblair Boy (above), and Camerily Joe (right). I’m so lucky to get these rides and opportunities!
I’ve been for a long cycle this evening with Belle. Happy to be feeling fit, and ready for the upcoming season!
I thought I’d share a few photo’s of me with Ginger Jam from this weekend. This horse is a superstar, I can’t wait to head back to Beverley with him this season - it’s a track he loves!
Also, huge congratulations to Rowan, Acklam Express and the team for their 3rd in the Al Quoz Group 1 at the Meydan yesterday, I’m so proud of them all!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I spent my Sunday with Belle, we went on a 9.5 mile walk around the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. Belle is my world!
Camerily Joe and I are ready for the day ahead. Have a great weekend everyone!
It was a late night last night, by the time I got back from Newcastle and made sure Athollblair Boy was home safely, and tucked up in his box. He ran a great race, and tried his heart out for me, we finished in 2nd place, by only half a length!
Looking forward to riding at Newcastle this evening! I have 2 rides, one for Nigel and the other for Brian Rothwell. I hope everyone has a fantastic Cheltenham!
Spending a bit of time with one of my favourite horses at the yard, Imperium Blue. (He was my first York Racecourse winner!)
Thought we could kick start the 2021 blog here at the gym after a long day at work. (Love this quote!)
Looking forward to Southwell tomorrow, where I have 2 rides for Brian Rothwell!
